本书利用语料库方法对中国英语学习者在汉英交传中的显化特征进行综合分析,探索了职业译员与中国英语学习者在汉英交传中的显化特征,比较了他们显化特征的差异。研究结果显示,关于语际显化,与职业译员相比,中国英语学习者使用显化手段更为少见;中国英语学习者更倾向于将每个句子作为一个孤立的个体来处理,未能在句子的各个部分之间建立前后逻辑关系;中国英语学习者较少显化原文隐含的逻辑关系,从而增加了听众的理解难度。至于语内显化,统计结果显示,与原创英语相比,中国英语学习者的英译文本中较少出现衔接手段和引导从句的连接词that。此外,还对中国英语学习者和职业译员在语篇意义显化方面进行了比较,以便为口译员教学提供新的教学资料。
